IT MALL
In my small state, it came out an IT mall few years ago…
A vision by the government to pull all the IT companies to the mall for 1 stop 1 station shop for IT products…
But as we expected, most of the government projects were WHITE ELEPHANT PROJECTS…
Only feel the strong wind blowing but no rain (雷声大雨点小)…
A ‘grand opening’ for the mall done…
After few months, still few or low percentage of the shop lots opened or in business…
Proven again a failure project by the government…
Again, wasted the taxpayers $$$...
What was the aim actually??? The people or their pocket???
Today, when I passed by the building, shocked to see the IT mall had changed to Water Department…
It failed as an IT Mall…
But, the government again started to yell for another IT Mall just besides Mahkota…
Not sure how long it still can survive???
MOVIDA for sure had good business…
What about the lots and also the shop in business….
How long the mall can last as IT mall and play the part that the government wanted???
Just wait and see…
Will it be the next IT WHITE ELEPHANT???
